The Day We All Stood Out for Equality

Although the recent passing of Proposition 8 banned gay marriages in California, more than 1,500 Nevadans rallied against the amendment on November 15 at the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada. The Center hosted the Stand OUT for Equality rally on short notice. It was part of a nationwide protest against the passing of Proposition 8. The Center described it as a “pro-equality event.”

Preston Lee Brings Design/Style to Reality TV

Congratulations on being one of the three finalists on season two of Bravo TV’s Top Design. We wholeheartedly agree with a person who posted on the IMDb message boards, “Preston got robbed!” since you were by far the person in our minds with the “top design.” How did your participation in the competition come about? I was looked at by casting directors and agents and they said “you should be on TV.” From that, I networked and become friends with people in the industry who eventually became clients. After a few years designing for them, they eventually lead me to the audition/interview for Top Design; the rest is history...
